The Wire to Wire team has had many years of experience in providing structured cabling systems based on a thorough understanding of industry standards, best practices and building code requirements. We are experts in managing the specific challenges inherent in a wide variety of settings including: educational facilities, corporate office spaces, manufacturing/warehouse facilities, retail spaces, healthcare facilities and data centers.

We provide high-quality professional installation services for our clients and we’re always striving to build long-term relationships. We start by giving excellent customer service and personal attention during new tenant-finish and construction projects, and then we continue to provide ongoing service support for moves, additions, changes and other resources for the future.

Leadership & Sales

John Kutz

Founder and CEO

John Kutz is the President of Wire to Wire Inc, a design-build company for low voltage cabling. John is responsible for the strategic planning and growth of his company. He has the responsibility of providing employment of 40 individuals who are the heartbeat his company.

John started Wire to Wire in 2003 out of his house with two thousand dollars and grew from one employee to over 35 technicians, sales and support personnel. John treats his employees as though they are family. The most important aspects of his business are his team and his customers.

John moved to Colorado in 1990 from New Mexico after receiving a major in History and a minor in Economics. He built a sales division, for Western Distributing Company, at the age of 26 from $5 million to $20 million in less than 18 months. Other achievements include doubling the sales in his former role, at SmartWire, before starting Wire to Wire in 2003.

John lives in Golden, Colorado, with his wife Shannon and their dog Serena. When not working John enjoys riding his motorcycle, golfing and doing projects around the house. John can be reached at [email protected].

Buzz Sawyer

Vice President

Buzz Sawyer is Wire to Wire’s Senior Account Manager. He has been with the team for over 11 years and works in tandem with Jordan Barnett to facilitate and drive sales for the organization. Buzz has close relationships with Project Managers, Architects and General Contractors.

In addition to the clients that he has worked to maintain a relationship with over the years. Buzz excels with a very technical background and can provide prospective clients with creative, cutting-edge, money-saving design-build ideas for their projects.

The Wire to Wire team stands out from the competition by moving companies through a detailed sales process. This includes a site visit, numbered power plan drawings indicating drop locations, a detailed proposal and exceptional follow up. Buzz also attends all construction meetings throughout the project schedule. This ensures a smooth installation and open communication between the client, Wire to Wire & all trades. General contractors and Project Managers enjoy working with Buzz due to his commitment to getting the job done right.

Prior to leading the sales team at Wire to Wire, Buzz was a Network Engineer at Encoda for over 21 years. While at Encoda, Buzz oversaw the computer room and the networks in their entirety, from incoming firewalls to switches. Buzz brings a wealth of experience and a well-seasoned sales background to the team. For this reason, it is not uncommon to see Buzz on various service calls troubleshooting on his own.

Buzz likes to hike, bowl, BBQ and spend his free time with his daughter.

Jordan Barnett

Business Development Manager

Jordan joined the Wire to Wire team in 2015, as the Business Development Manager. She works closely with Buzz Sawyer to generate new business and start future clients through our sales process. Jordan and Buzz work in tandem to manage all of the incoming sales for Wire to Wire. This not only includes new business, but current client management as well.

As the Business Development Manager, Jordan works alongside potential clients, Project Managers, Architects, Property Management, General Contractors and other vendors to stay in front of new projects in Denver and the surrounding areas.

Jordan comes from an extensive sales background. Her career began in B2B sales and then transitioned to medical device sales, where she spent years working alongside surgeons in the operating room. After deciding to change career paths, she found herself working with top brokers at Savills Studley before joining our team.

Jordan and her husband have two young boys, 5 and 3, and a yellow lab who likes to join her at the office whenever possible. She enjoys almost any outdoor activity from hiking to cycling to snowshoeing. Jordan’s best times are when she’s traveling internationally with her family.

The product is performing as I had hoped and the design that they recommended for my racks is amazing.
